We’re looking for a volunteer with social media skills and a passion for the performing arts and ecology to grow our social media profile across multiple platforms.
Ecostage is run by arts practitioners working on a voluntary basis. It is a grassroots initiative and website that provides a framework, tools and resources for embedding practical ecological thinking throughout the creative process.
We are working towards facilitating awareness of the intersectionality of social, climate and environmental justice, and decolonising the arts, and welcome applications from all backgrounds and communities.
Share existing content and news items from the Ecostage website e.g. a case study from the site.
Promote Ecostage membership and the Ecostage Pledge.
Promote events and callouts from Ecostage members and sister groups.
Bring your creativity to original content (e.g. short interviews and clips highlighting projects).
Help build the Ecostage following by interacting with other similar accounts.
Ensure regular weekly posts and attend some team meetings.
Work alongside the rest of the Ecostage team.
Work remotely and online.
Non-essential: the ability to share content to our WordPress site.
Ecostage is actively involved with national and international groups and events, speaking at Prague Quadrennial and World Stage Design, and is affiliated with the Society of British Theatre Designers, as well as freelancers and organisations across the world.
It aims to embed ecological thinking at the heart of creative practice, inspire and deliver change, and foster ecological regeneration.
