We had a lovely afternoon at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, running a workshop with the Production Arts students. After a general introduction to our work, we focused on the Ecostage Framework.

Normally, we have people work on a randomly generated project brief so they can focus on the framework as a planning tool, but this was the first day of a new project in which groups of students would create work around mundane tasks. We still introduced some random elements, but kept the main theme. The students were soon coming up with wonderfully imaginative ideas, and engaged with the framework quickly, enabling them to develop those ideas in ways that take responsibility for their relationships with Nature, social responsibility, wellbeing (of artists as well as the audience), and the future.

Tailored versions of this workshop are available for both students and professionals. Please get in touch for a chat.
