Punctum experiments in live arts – making the difference, by making differently.

Founded in 2004, Punctum is a practice and investigation led live arts organisation on Dja Dja Wurrung Country and based in Castlemaine, Australia. We create programs which give contemporary art and experimentation a central place in regional culture. Our works are grown regionally and are presented locally, nationally and internationally. Since 2004 we have created and championed live arts productions and residencies which are participatory, unexpected, compelling, and regionally grown. Our annual program brings audiences and communities together through shared cultural adventures to collectively reconsider their past, reinterpret their present, and re-imagine their future.
