I have over 30 years of working in the theatre industry and have designed over 60 productions, building based, touring and site specific. More recently I have just completed my MA in Creative Practice and my practice has become more installation and film based, looking at ways of creating thoughtful beautiful work without using up lots of precious natural resources and lots of waste stuff. I love to work outdoors and explore natural spaces. I also create collages and work professionally as a scenic artist.

The widespread use of precious materials and natural resources that is still common practice in the theatre industry made me turn away in the early 2000's. Having come back in the last few years I have decided that it is the responsibility of all of us working in the industry to promote awareness, offer alternatives and try to change ways of thinking and working so that creating theatre does not need to mean trashing the earth for our children.
