Can you tell us something about yourself?
Currently studying Design for the Theatre and Computation Arts at Concordia University in Montreal, my practice is focused on the exploration of fibres, new materials, dyeing and gardening dye plants, as well as combining my explorations with computation, either to create organically inspired design or innovative costumes and props while respecting and cherishing the environment. I hope to become a teacher in order to contribute to the next generations of designers and visual artists by bringing about a curriculum focused on ecodesign. And so much more, I would love to chat !
What was the turning point when you became ecologically aware and decided to take action?
I feel like my ecological awareness was always present from childhood, I feel my desire to take action is rooted in my lack of satisfaction and growth in my initial career path. Once I found a way to combine my skill, passion and constant desire to explore more, applying ecological practices came naturally and as a absolute necessity.
