Ecostage co-director Paul Burgess is of two key UK facilitators for this 5-day workshop from BIPAM on creating climate-conscious performing arts projects: Caring, Practicing, Crafting: Climate Dramaturgy in Performing Arts.
Alongside Paul, the workshop will present the work of Zoe Svendsen, a theatre practitioner advocating for Climate Dramaturgy in practice. Additionally, a local guest climate expert will share insights specific to the situation in Thailand.
Like Ecostage, BIPAM acknowledges that the context of ‘Climate Change’ varies in each place, as does the art ecosystem. Therefore, this project aims to exchange ideas and brainstorm for realistic solutions that will encourage local practitioners to embrace eco-friendly practices without compromising creativity.
The workshop will take place from April 23rd to 27th, 2567 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM) at FabCafe TCDC Charoenkrung. Participation is free of charge but limited to 20 people only!
