I am the Wardrobe Assistant for Derby Theatre, trained in Costume Design and Making at Nottingham Trent University. I have previous experience as a sewing machinist for a family-based company in Alfreton, David Niepers. In my spare time away from work I enjoy reading, creating artwork through traditional drawing, and digital drawing, and beginning a journey experimenting with lino prints.

I have been aware of the impact I have had on the environment specifically in my line of work since my days at university as we spoke a lot about sustainability and the amount of waste we produce as an industry. I have been taking small actions in my day-to-day life i.e. buying secondhand clothes, upcycling, recycling but now I am part of a bigger organisation, I can help bring these ideas into the workplace as I am a part of our Green Initiative.
